First Annual Father Daughter Dance

“Fathers, do not exasperate your children: instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6: 4.
This past Saturday, June 15th, the night before Father's Day, saw a great example of this scripture being put in to practice when the church held its first ever Father/Daughter dance at the church’s building in Port of Spain.
We witnessed a beautiful display of father daughter bonding as the daughters attired in their lovely dresses of white, red and even blue, some of the little princesses even wore tiaras, arrived on the arms of their proud escorts.
We danced with our daughters, nieces and the daughters of our sisters in Christ.  We also enjoyed an exciting game of father/daughter musical chairs.  To top that off, we had dinner with the young ladies and had wonderful conversations.
This event truly served its purpose.  Firstly, it was an attempt to inspire great relationships between our daughters and us.  Additionally, it was meant to provide them with a standard of the way in which they should be treated by the opposite sex. Yes, and it was also to have the girls and us enjoy some good clean fun!!!
We look forward to this being an annual event. Enjoy the video slide show of the event.
