ASK The Lord Of The Harvest...

Why aren't more souls being saved in Trinidad & Tobago, the Caribbean, and the rest of the world?

Is it because people are no longer searching for God? That can't possibly be true. Churches swell on any given Sunday all over the planet. And not just churches - but mosques, synagogues, and temples as well. People are definitely searching for God.

The problem isn't that there's not enough people searching. Jesus said "open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest." (Jn 4:35)

The problem is that there's simply not enough WORKERS. There's not enough disciples of Jesus willing to put their hand to the plow and endure simple, yet painstaking and sometimes exhausting work for God in His harvest field.

During the month of September, the brothers & sisters of the Port of Spain Church of Christ will once again, together put their hands to the plow of Christ in a month devoted to prayer and evangelism. Obviously, disciples of Jesus are always about their Father's business of seeking and saving the lost. But during this "campaign" the church will work in a coordinated fashion and prayerfully harness the power and blessings that come with unity.

Please join us in what Jesus sees as the solution to lost souls - praying for workers to be sent out into his harvest field. Pray that our church would be unified in the mission. Pray that we would be loving to the people we reach out to. Pray that we would have a good work ethic. Pray that we would not let fear of rejection, or selfishness, or laziness stand in the way of souls being saved!   --Tony Millet, Lead Evangelist, Port of Spain Church of Christ
